About Me – Michael Attipa, founder

I'm the founder and principal of Management First Pty Ltd, bringing more than 25 years of experience across law, engineering and commercial consulting. My career has taken me from technical engineering roles into the legal profession and ultimately into corporate advisory, giving me a rare breadth of expertise across multiple disciplines.

I was trained in international law, international arbitration law, and banking law, and have practised in construction law, corporate law and insolvency law. This legal foundation equipped me to guide businesses through complex disputes, restructures and financial challenges with precision and confidence.

Through Management First, I developed my expertise in corporate restructuring, insolvency solutions, debt negotiation and asset protection strategies. I work with both individuals and companies to help them overcome defaults, judgments, creditor disputes and ATO actions while protecting their assets and restoring their financial footing.

My commercial experience extends well beyond advisory:

• I played a key role in establishing and growing a global business with offices and facilities across Asia and North America. This involved procuring factories, plant and machinery, securing multimillion-dollar contracts with tier-one companies, managing all legal aspects of procurement and leading an international sales team.
   
• I also assisted in the establishment, operations, and financial oversight of one of Australia’s leading entertainment companies, which successfully founded an entirely new industry in Australia.

As a Commercial Consultant and Business Advisor, I bring together my legal training, international business experience, and hands-on commercial expertise to provide practical solutions across:

Most firms in this space fall into one of two categories: credit repair shops that deal narrowly with defaults and judgments or large insolvency firms that serve big corporates with high fees and little personal attention.

Management First is different.

I combine over 25 years of multidisciplinary experience in law, business and international operations with a hands-on, empathetic approach to client challenges. This means:

• I not only remove the barriers (defaults, judgments, creditor disputes, ATO actions) but also guide clients through restructuring, asset protection and long-term business growth. 

• I have personally managed global operations so I understand challenges from the inside.
